The movie The Ticket is the story of a man who is blind from the wound of his youth, and then overlooks the beauty, but then goes metaphorically blind in the pursuit of a better life. Dan Stevens, who will also soon be seen in the film Beauty and the Beast, stars in Oda Fluk's drama.
James has been blind since he was young (Dan Stevens), but then the tumor that prevents him from seeing unexpectedly shrinks and he suddenly overlooks. Now he is driven by an obsession for a better life. But the 'upgrade' - a nicer home, a better-paying job, tailored suits, a luxury car - leaves little room for the people who were with him when he was still blind and lived more simply.

At the same time, his relationship with his wife suffers (Malin Åkerman) and close friends Bob (Oliver Platt) and nothing seems to drag him out of the darkness.
