Did you wake up happy and smiling today? Well, that will change in an instant when you watch the trailer for the horror film The Witch. And if the pleasantly cool morning air didn't give you goosebumps, the next two and a half minutes will give your skin goosebumps. The Robert Eggers-signed film was a huge hit at this year's Sundance Film Festival, and you'll be pale from fear while watching it in 2016.
The movie The Witch, a cross between The Shining and The Exorcist, may be the scariest movie ever made. It tells the story of a religiously and morally strained family with five children who encounter a forces of evil. Then when first their newborn mysteriously disappears and then the harvest fails, the members of the family turn against each other.

The action is set just under 400 years into the past, in 1630 (so still before the Salem witch trials), and yes, there are children possessed by the devil, possessed (?) goat, witchcraft and black magic. You know, the usual stuff.
