The schedule of this year's Film under the Stars, an annual cinema, jointly organized by Kinodvor and Ljubljana Castle, has been published. We will enjoy movie treats at the magical venue of the Castle Courtyard from July 2 to 25.
In twenty-four consecutive summer nights A movie under the stars presents a selection of the most popular movies past cinema seasons, including the winners film festivals in Cannes, Berlin and Venice, Oscar winners and nominees, the best-attended films in Cinema hall and hits from the Ljubljana International Film Festival LIFF, some films that are made to be shown under the starry sky (this year Interstellar, Mad Max: Fury Road and Tales of Horses and People), an animated film for all generations (Bacek Jon film) and the most popular documentaries, and three previews:
- on Friday, July 3: Far from the People (Loin des hommes, David Oelhoffen, France, 2014)
- on Wednesday 15 July: 45 Years (45 Years, Andrew Haigh, Great Britain, 2015)
- on Saturday 25 July: Weekend Preview: Amy (Amy, Asif Kapadia, UK, 2015).

Ticket price: 4.5 EUR; previews (Far from People, 45, Amy): 5.5 EUR. There are no additional discounts. Ticket reservations for Film under the Stars are not possible.
