(USA, 2017)
Comedy, crime

When their pensions are frozen, they decide to rob the bank responsible for it and get their money back. This fills their life with energy and strength that they did not know before.

The Fate of the Furious 8

13/04/2017 / Cineplexx, Coliseum
Action movie
(USA, Japan, France, Canada, American Samoa, 2017)
Directed by F. Gary Gray. Cast: Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron, Jason Statham, Scott Eastwood, Lucas Black, Helen Mirren, Jordana Brewster, Kurt Russell, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky, Kristofer Hivju, Tyrese Gibson, Lee Hodge.

The racing team gathered around Dominic is returning to the big screen. The eighth chapter of the high-octane franchise is the first part of a new trilogy. It was directed by F. Gary Gray, who signed on for Straight Outta Compton. The Fast and the Furious family was joined by two Oscar winners, namely Charlize Theron (in the role of the main villain), who learned how to 'wield' the steering wheel in the movie Mad Max: Fury Road, and the evergreen Helen Mirren. This film became the first ever Hollywood film to be shot in Cuba, and was also filmed in Iceland, Atlanta, Cleveland and New York. If the seventh part was dedicated to the deceased Paul Walker, this one is from Paul, as Vin Diesel said, because Walker told him before his death that the filming of the eighth was confirmed. As always, the role of the family remains the common thread, and the binder is adrenaline chases, the smell of octane, speed and the desire for revenge. This time, the family is put to the most difficult test yet, as an internal rift occurs. Will the leader's betrayal be fatal or will the family, which until now was considered inseparable, manage to maintain unity?

After Sean Connery and Clive Owen, Charlie Hunnam got into it. Former footballer David Beckham also appears in the film. It is a mix of Ritchie's interpretation of Sherlock Holmes and the TV series Game of Thrones, with characteristic slow motion. It's the start of a franchise whose longevity will be dictated by box office receipts.
