We like Hollywood happy endings, but what particularly fascinates us in most of our favorite films is the costume design or fashion. Oh, how we want to step into the shoes of beautiful heroines and charming heroes...
Surely we are not the only ones impressed by the fashion style of the protagonists of the movie screens, dressed in only the best that the fashion industry has to offer? There are definitely movies that don't focus on fashion, but there are quite a few that have left us speechless and enthralled. Let's see which ones have left the biggest fashion mark on us.
1. Clueless
Clueless fascinates with cute and sassy rivers and impresses with fashion, as it writes the style of the 90s down to the last detail in history.
2. A Single Man
Everything from the hands of Tom Ford is somehow excellent. He also superbly dressed the main actors in the film, which is set in the 60s of the last century.
3. Funny Face
A fun story about a prestigious fashion magazine that is looking for a new face and fresh inspiration. He finds her in the form of a beat-dressed Audrey Hepburn. Happy 50th, we love you!
4. The Royal Tenenbaums
Wes Anderson perfection in the form of Gwyneth Paltrow in a combination of fur and Lacoste suit and Ben Stiller in a retro tracksuit.
5. Heathers
Ruffles, shoulder pads and jackets - crazy good if you're into '80s power-suit fashion.
6. Bonnie and Clyde
Rebellion has never looked so good. Another film that showcases the timeless beat fashion of the 50s.
7. The Devil Wears Prada
Prada and Vogue. Is there anything else we can add?
8. Belle de Jour
A wonderful French film in which the iconic Catherine Deneuve shines in all her elegance.
9. Annie Hall
Diane Keaton's androgen in a great film about relationships and especially love. 70's come back!
10. Sex and the City
It just won't do without the eclectic Carrie Bradshaw when mentioning fashion in the film. The wedding dress that the heroine wears at her wedding bears the signature of the extraordinary Vivienne Westwood.
