nat-2: ultra-fashionable footwear made from spoiled milk

Overproduction of milk in factories has resulted in many dairy products remaining unused. The company nat-2 therefore came up with an interesting way to solve this problem - they made shoes from spoiled milk.

Spoiled milk indeed not intended for consumption, but nevertheless includes ingredients thanks to which it can also be used in footwear industry.

Designer Sebastian Thies (nat-2) connected with a bioengineer Anke Domaske (QMilk), with which they designed a very special ultra-fashionable footwear, made from milk, which is no longer suitable for consumption.

Material that consists of wool and milk fiber, is 100% natural and pleasant to the touch. It will impress users not only with softness and comfort, but also with function temperature regulation and antibacterial action.

Customers will be able to choose between low ones and high sneakers, available in a wide range of colors. But that's not all! nat-2 is in collaboration with the brand Thies 1856 also designed a line of milk slippers.
The sneakers are rated at 299, and slippers on 120 euros. Their production, which also uses some other materials such as cork and rubber, is ongoing handmade in Italy.
