Neccessary Explosion: the app that lets you 'see the music'

Neccessary Explosion: an app that lets you 'see music'.

Music is based on the creation of sound that is perceived by the sense of hearing. As it seems, soon more emphasis in the musical field will be devoted to vision. This time it's not about videos, but about...

Necessary Explosion is an application created by a creative agency Wieden + Kennedy. Innovation excites s a combination of music and augmented reality.

The application is able to visualize 11 tracks from the album SOS, recorded by the band Necessary Explosion. Convert the melody to unique sculptures that spin over a turntable.

Listening to music will therefore take on a new dimension. Users will be able to interact with artificial intelligence content through an operating system application iOS, which is already available in Apple's online store. This one uses technology 'audio fingerprinting', with the help of which objects can be moved. It is intended for use with a record player, but it can also be used independently.

As part of the product development process, the company decided to work closely with a music group and thus penetrate the minds of artists. This results in visuals that include, among other things explosions, rainbows, skulls and flowers.

Necessary Explosion is the first in a series of apps produced by the creative platform LAVA. Are you excited about the new product or do you think music doesn't need augmented reality elements?
