New Apple MacBook Pro: 16-inch screen and redesigned keyboard

Apple presented just before the end of this year updated and visually modernized MacBook Pro 16″ laptop, while at the same time taking a few steps back. But in a positive sense. Let's go in order. The most obvious change is the screen, which now measures 16 inches instead of the previous 15 inches. They achieved this both by thinning the edges of the screen and by using a slightly larger body. The quality of the screen itself remains the same. This one will still be extremely bright and color accurate, great for content creators (video editors will also appreciate the option to change the screen refresh rate).

It has undergone another major change (and a positive step back). keyboard, in which the production of the keys is of a kind a compromise between the new "butterfly" mechanism and the old "scissor" mechanism. This will make the new keyboard more resistant to spontaneous key failures and easier to repair like those from 2016-2018 models. The ESC key has become physical again, and the device's power button also serves as a Touch ID sensor.

But when we draw the line, it goes with the new one MacBook Pro 16″ for a very decent upgrade that will please many who have been putting off buying a MacBook Pro until now. Of course, the purchase will not be cheap, which is self-evident with Apple. For basic model (Intel i7 9th generation, 16GB of working memory, graphics AMD Radeon Pro 5300M 4GB and 512 SSD) will need to be deducted around 2,200 euros, and for the most absurdly richly decorated model (Intel i9 9th generation, 64GB of working memory, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M graphics 8GB and 8TB SSD) around 5,500 euros.
