Lately, new bivouacs have been growing like mushrooms after the rain in the Slovenian mountains. Let's remember. Recently, we got a phenomenal bivouac under Skuta, and a new bivouac II at Jezeri in the Julian Alps, and on Kanin, a vertically designed bivouac, located in the immediate vicinity of Dom Petr Skalar, has recently been attracting attention. Just like Skutin, he was also 'curved' by the design bureau OFIS Arhitekti. Nine people can sleep in the winter room.
Canine is richer for futuristic bivouac, which was designed by design bureau Office Architects and CBD, and it grew with the help of the army and the mountain, cave and mountain rescue association and other volunteers. If we were to judge only by some photos from the location, we could say that they are scenes from another planet.
In fact, it is a winter room not far from the otherwise closed one At Peter Skalar's home on Kanin, intended for mountain visitors, especially touring skiers who can successfully defy extreme winter conditions. It stands in a location that offers 360-degree view of Slovenia and Italy.

The bivouac on Kanin is designed completely differently steel bivouac under Skuta. Kaninski has a horizontal one instead vertical design, on the floors are also arranged in it beds. It's a winter room entirely wooden, and outside the wood is protected with aluminum lining. The entrance part is designed as social corner, where we can prepare food, and the view from the one-room bivouac is expansive to the Bovka valley. The bivouac is set up so that it is as little as possible in contact with the raw substrate and consequently the least invasive.
