Every now and then BMW makes the right decision. And they are not changing the winning recipe. The M2 remains the real thing in the hearts of automotive purists. Last of its kind!
First, to the basics. The three-liter in-line six-cylinder with M TwinPower Turbo technology is designed for high-speed operation. The maximum power of 338 kW (460 hp) is 66 kW (90 hp) higher than the power of the basic unit of the predecessor. Classic M high-performance features with immediate response and linear power development into the upper engine rev range. Max. torque: 550 Nm, max. motor speed: 7200 rpm. Huh! But now the data!
So the rear-wheel drive can accelerate (0-100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds. There is, of course, the optional M Race Track package, which includes an M Carbon roof, M Carbon bucket front seats, carbon fiber interior trim, and an M Driver's package that increases the top speed to 285 km/h. The crown is joined by "more" sporty racing tires.
