Get ready for the second half of the automotive year, where horsepower will grow faster than inflation and electrons will race faster than your Wi-Fi. New Cars 2025! Electrics, hybrids, turbo nostalgia and futuristic visions - 2025 will be an exciting automotive year as if directed by Christopher Nolan.
New cars 2025? If you think you've seen everything the automotive world has to offer in the first half of 2025, then... you better fasten your seatbelt. The second half of the year will be a real acceleration into the future - with more electricity, more horsepower and more adrenaline-pumping innovations than even the average algorithmic car enthusiast on YouTube can eat.
At a time when gasoline and electricity still coexist in a – to put it mildly – tense relationship, car manufacturers are offering a variety we haven't seen in a long time. From retro GTIs and modern-day pickups to hyper-electric superstars that reach 100 km/h faster than you click "accept cookies".
What can we expect from June to December 2025? Brand new Tesla and Ferraris, the arrival of exciting BMW's and Audis, lots of electrification, some dramatic hybrids and of course – the return of some legends.
What follows is a comprehensive month-by-month overview – this is not just a calendar of upcoming models, it is a preview of the future of mobility, in which every steel horse lover will find something to make their eyes (and maybe their credit card) light up.
New cars 2025
JUNE 2025: Introduction to the Revolution
Ram – Return to the Major Leagues
Ram, the iconic American pickup truck manufacturer, is returning to the midsize pickup truck segment after a long hiatus. The new model (name still under wraps) is set to debut on June 8th and will compete with the Ford Ranger and Toyota Tacoma. It is rumored to use the adaptable Stellantis platform, even with a unibody body instead of the classic body-on-frame design. While it may sound heretical to pickup purists, Ram promises that this will be a “bold new chapter” for the brand. It’s a good time to add a country playlist to your Spotify playlist.
Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 50 – Anniversary in style
Half a century. That's how long it's been since the GTI changed the meaning of the phrase "fast Golf." VW will unveil the GTI Edition 50 anniversary edition at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring - a limited edition based on the Clubsport, with retro details and (probably) slightly flared fenders. Time to buy if you collect GTIs like others collect sneakers.
Tesla “Model Q” – Electricity for the Masses
The most anticipated Tesla after… well, every next Tesla. The compact EV, which is expected to cost under 30,000 $ (around €25,000), is aimed at the mass market and is expected to put Tesla in a more affordable segment. The official name is not yet known, so for now we’re calling it the “Model Q” – but if Elon wakes up in a good mood in the morning, he might just call it the “Model Meme”.
JULY 2025: When Scandinavians become beasts
Polestar 5 – Swedish brutality with a British touch
The production version of the Precept concept delivers around 884 hp, GT styling and 800V architecture. The all-electric Polestar 5 is pitched as an alternative to the Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan – only with Scandinavian minimalism and a name that sounds like a new IKEA lamp.
Ferrari hypercar (LaFerrari successor) – Goodbye V12?
Ferrari is preparing a “halo” model that is supposed to continue the tradition of the LaFerrari. There is talk of a V8 or V6 hybrid drive, close to 1000 hp and a price that will take your breath away – several million euros. Limited to around 30 examples. So it’s only fitting that you’ll be able to see them in Monaco… parked, never driven.
AUGUST 2025: Hybrid Madness with Bulls
Lamborghini Revuelto SVJ – When 1001 HP is not enough
Lamborghini is not resting. After all the standard Revueltas are sold out, the SVJ version is coming - even more extreme, even wilder. Expected to be over 1001 hp and aerodynamic improvements. It will probably be presented at an exclusive Pebble Beach-type event, where the car is not just a vehicle, but a status symbol with a low profile and a high price.
SEPTEMBER 2025: German Electro Expression
BMW i3 (Neue Klasse) – 3 Series in electric guise
The new electric “three”, perhaps called i3 (again?), will be presented at the IAA in Munich. New platform, 800V architecture, up to 600 km range and a new design philosophy. The first BMW that will carry the electric future with the same weight as previous generations carried driving pleasure.
BMW M3 EV – For the first time without gasoline, but electric like crazy
With up to 1,341 hp and four electric motors, the M3 EV will be no joke. If M GmbH delivers the promised numbers, this will be the M3 that will put the competition to sleep. Premiere at the end of 2025, and on the roads expected in 2026.
Audi RS6 e-tron – Wagon with lightning rod
The iconic RS6 is going all-electric, in sedan and Avant (wagon) versions. Power over 600 hp, PPE platform and quattro electrified. Yes, electric supercars are officially “in”. Tesla Plaid, get ready.
Volkswagen ID.2 – Electric for everyone
The first serious VW EV for under €25,000. Polo size, Golf-like technology. The first in a new family of affordable electric vehicles that is set to “electrify” Europe. With a bit of luck, we will also see the ID.1, ID.2 SUV and maybe even the ID.Burek.
OCTOBER 2025: Maranello goes quiet (but very fast)
Ferrari EV – Quiet but explosive
On October 9th, Ferrari will unveil its first all-electric model. Maranello promises “electricity with a Ferrari soul.” It won’t be cheap (there’s talk of a 500,000 $+), but it’s a milestone. Will it be a coupe, a GT or a crossover? It’s not yet clear, but the excitement among investors and collectors is already creaking like an F1 car in a slow turn.
Nissan Leaf (3rd gen) – From pioneer to crossover
The Leaf will transform into a more SUV-like model with a larger interior and a range of around 600 km. This time, it will not only be for fans of eco-labels on the rear window - the new Leaf will hit back into the segment with more style and performance.
Toyota FT-Se – Electric Sportsman with MR2 Roots
The concept that raised eyebrows in Tokyo is expected to reach production by the end of 2025. A compact sports car with two engines and acceleration under 3 seconds? Please, just don't let it lose its soul because of the engine's silence.
NOVEMBER 2025: When Range Rover whispers
Range Rover Electric – The quietest SUV in history
Land Rover promises the quietest, smoothest and most technologically advanced Range Rover ever. 600+ hp, a massive battery, AI suspension and 57,000 people already on the waiting list. The SUV for those who want to get to the top of the hill – in complete silence.
Alfa Romeo Giulia (2nd generation) – Beauty with electricity
The successor to the Giulia is coming at the end of the year and will be available with ICE, hybrid and fully electric drivetrains (including a 1000 HP Quadrifoglio version!). An elegant sports sedan with the option of a fastback. Alfa is aiming high with this model – in the style of “Return of the Queen”.
Chevrolet Corvette Dawn – When America Gets Really Angry
A hybrid monster with a V8 and electric drive, a combined 1200+ hp and AWD. The Dawn will be the pinnacle of the Corvette C8 generation. Price? More than your hypothetical second home. But they promise it will be faster than most European exotics.
DECEMBER 2025: Quiet luxury
Rolls-Royce – The Second Electric Aristocrat
After the Spectre, comes a new electric Rolls. Maybe a Phantom EV? Maybe an SUV? But definitely: silence, luxury and the “spirit of ecstasy” in electric form. Rolls-Royce hasn’t just entered the electric age – it’s now defining it in opera attire and with golden keys.
Conclusion: 2025 – the year cars stop roaring, but still scream
The second half of 2025 will be an explosion of automotive innovations – from affordable EVs to hyper-exotics. Electrification is no longer an “if”, but a “how soon”. Will petrol engines finally retire? Maybe not yet, but the future is battery-powered and comes with record acceleration. If you’re a car enthusiast, the world has never offered you so much – unless you’re the kind of person who still swears by diesels and manual transmissions. In that case… enjoy it while you can.
Year 2025: the future is here – and it has a range of over 600 km.
