Today, Mercedes Benz released the first official images of the third generation B-Class, which has received a facelift, more sporty looks and technologies, and a collection of little things that make it the perfect travel companion to fight in an increasingly crowded segment. The proof is also the rush of Mercedes, who published the photos today, a month before the official presentation at the Paris Motor Show.
If you are not a connoisseur of Mercedes, it will be difficult to notice the small details design details, which, however, in the totality of all changes, the renovated one class B, give an extremely fresh feeling. It is thus transformed front bumper with larger air ducts and a redesigned air intake slot, LED daytime running lights built into the samo headlight optics. Micro changes to the optics and the rear bumper are also noticeable in the background.
The story of the improvement of the existing story continues in the interior as well mercedes took care of the ambient lighting, which has as many as 12 color choices. A host of new assistants are available, such as Collision Prevention Assist Plus and Attention Assist.
They will be available for motorbikes 4 petrol and 4 diesel aggregates and for the first time also electric motor. With that, this one mercedes also a purebred electric car.
B-Class Electric Drive powered by an electric motor that produces 180 hp (132 kW) and has a constant torque of 340 Nm, enough to accelerate from 0-100 km / h, in decent 7.9 seconds and final 160 km/h top speed. Z 28 kWh lithium-ion battery, the electric B-Class will drive up to 137 km, before it runs out of energy. A full charge takes three and a half hours when you use a classic home plug. If you are in a hurry to charge, Mercedes promises fast charging, which will charge the batteries for approximately 96 "fast" kilometers in about two hours.
Approximate prices are also known. In Germany, the initial model B180 will cost a good 27,102.25€, this price will be really attractive with ambitions for additional equipment and better engines. Prices are not yet known for the B-Class Electric Drive.
