Dell has introduced new products from its XPS series for 2020: the updated XPS 15, and the return of the XPS 17. Design updates include USB-C and an edge-to-edge 16:10 display.
Renovated Dell XPS 15 (2020) is one of Dell's most important updates in the last five years. He got the bigger one, 15.6-inch edge-to-edge display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, Intel's latest 10th generation processors, and some models even have a graphics card Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q. You will be able to choose between a screen with a resolution 4K (3840 x 2400) or I'm used to it FHD screen (1920 x 1200), and both will have a tiny webcam installed at the top.

You will be able to configure the XPS 15 with Intel chips up to i9, with 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage space. But that's not all. Dell also claims that their battery has it "the longest autonomy among all 15-inch laptops", and so it lasts for a model with an FHD screen up to 25 hours.
Dell is also abandoning older connectors such as USB-A and HDMI and finally including them in its models USB-C. So does the XPS 15 two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports, one regular USB-C 3.1 port, and a full-size SD card reader. And it's these changes that mean the XPS 15 now has a slimmer profile, 18mm in height to be exact.
A fresh Dell XPS 15 (2020) will cost a fortune around 1,200 euros.
New Dell XPS 17 (2020)
In addition to the updated XPS 15 model, Dell has reintroduced its larger XPS 17, which we last saw 10 years ago. As the name suggests, it is about 17-inch member of the XPS family. Dell describes it as “the most powerful XPS laptop ever”, and the company has no doubt crammed as much as it can into a relatively small package (Dell says it's smaller than 50 percent of all 15-inch laptops in the world)!
Like the XPS 13 and XPS 15, the XPS 17 also has screen in 16:10 ratio, resolution options 4K or FHD and a small HD web camera at the top. It too can be configured with this latest, 10th generation Intel processor, with 64GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. Alongside Nvidia's GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q graphics card is available here even more powerful RTX 2060. With a height of 19.5 mm and a starting weight of just over two kilograms, the XPS 17 could be an interesting option for anyone who wants to pass the time playing a game, or for creators who want to take advantage of the capabilities of its GPU and processor for video editing and more.
Dell also added a new thermal design to the XPS 17 to improve airflow and Vapor Chamber cooling technology, with which it will cool the chips during the load. As on the XPS 15, you won't find a USB-A port here either. Instead, they are here four USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports and a full-size SD card reader.
The Dell XPS 17 (2020) is coming in the summer, the price will be around 1,400 euros.
