On the gasoline side, there is also a liter three-cylinder with a turbocharger and 88.3 kW (120 hp) and a 1.4-liter gasoline engine with 73.3 kW (100 hp). For diesel fans, a 1.6-liter diesel engine is available with three nominal outputs: 70 kW (95 hp), 81 kW (110 hp) and 100 kW (136 hp) and emits carbon dioxide from 89 g/km. A six-speed manual transmission or Hyundai's seven-speed dual-clutch robotic transmission are available for the aforementioned engines.
Connectivity features are in touch with time and with what is expected in the segment. The system is thus available to drivers with a five-inch LCD screen, which brings all possible ways of connectivity both via Apple CarPlay like Android Auto. We also noticed an acoustically interesting sound system, which boasts excellent sound and a sufficient amount of bass.
i30 in accordance with the highest European safety standards, it has the latest active safety features built in – and some of the most important ones are already present in the base version of the new i30.
