Oppo is preparing a new beast called the Find X8s+ - with specs so "overkill" that Elon Musk could sign them. Dimensity 9400+ chipset, 6000 mAh battery, up to 1 TB of storage, and Hasselblad camera calibration? Yes, please. And you'll get all of that on April 10th.

Imagine a phone that doesn't follow trends, but creates them. A phone that has hardware from the future, but an Android 15 operating system - so yes, it's still a phone. That's probably upcoming Oppo Find X8s+, which will be officially unveiled on April 10th, according to all indications. Although it has not yet been officially confirmed, the internet is already ablaze with “leaked” specifications. And if half of them are true, then the competition may already be nervous.

To begin with, Oppo Find X8s+ will not be modest at all. If you thought that 12 GB of RAM is sufficient, Oppo offers you 16. If you wanted 512 GB of space, you get the option for 1 TB. And if you wanted long battery life? There's 6000 mAh, built into a body just 8 mm thick. It's almost a contradiction in nature - or a pure engineering miracle.

Let's look at the key specifications, which are (for now) unofficial but extremely promising:

🔧 Specifications that sound like science fiction:

  • Display: 6.59-inch AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 1256×2760 px (so… almost 2K)
  • Processor: Dimensity 9400+ (3 nm), probably one of the most powerful chips on the market
  • Memory: 12/16 GB RAM + up to 1 TB UFS 4.0
  • Cameras: Triple 50 MP camera with periscope zoom, ultrawide lens and Hasselblad calibration
  • Selfie camera: 32 MP, 4K video support
  • Battery: 6000 mAh – it's still unclear how exactly they managed to fit that into such a thin phone
  • OS: Android 15 with the promised 5 major upgrades
  • Water resistance: IP68 and IP69 – ready for the shower, the pool and probably even a small tsunami
  • Connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR port, USB-C with OTG
  • Extras: Stereo speakers, Circle to Search, and the complete absence of a 3.5 mm jack (because it's 2025, right?)

Why is Find X8s+ important?

In a world where phones are increasingly similar and every other flagship promises a revolution with recycled innovation, the Find X8s+ stands out. Not because it's radically different - but because it puts everything we already know on steroids. Dimensity 9400+ It's said to be capable of even the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and if Oppo really delivers a stable user experience with ColorOS 15, this could be one of the most underrated premium phones of the year.

Oppo is clearly aiming for the “ultra-premium flagship” segment – where Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi are fighting for the throne. It’s not a new thing, but with each Find X model they’ve taken it a step further. The Find X8s+ could be their star.

How much will this monster cost us?

So – we're talking about a phone with the latest Mediatek chip Dimensity 9400+, 1 TB storage, triple Hasselblad camera, a 6000 mAh battery and a top-notch AMOLED display. In a world where the iPhone Pro Max costs as much as a solid used car, you'd expect the Find X8s+ to be a real pain in the ass. But Oppo has its own take on it here. Zen philosophy.

If we look at previous models (like the Find X6 Pro and Find X7 Ultra), and factor in inflation and tech-inflation (yes, that's a thing), then we can we guessso that the starting price will be somewhere between 899 and 1099 euros – depending on the version.

  • 256GB + 12GB RAM – around 899 €
  • 512GB + 16GB RAM – approximately 999 €
  • 1TB + 16GB RAM – probably €1099 or more

And that's if Oppo is smart. But if they decide to go "full Samsung/Apple mode", then expect +150 euros on each of the above numbers. In any case, if they maintain the price-performance ratio, the Find X8s+ could become best flagship deal of 2025.

What else awaits us?

The official presentation is – if rumors are to be believed – April 10And while Oppo hasn't made any official announcements yet, certification data, insider sources, and internet sleuths are pretty much unanimous about the date. Everything suggests that it will be Oppo Find X8s+ trying to win where the competition is already losing steam – in battery life, photographic versatility and long-term Android updates. And if all of that works out, then… Apple and Samsung, get ready.

Conclusion? If Oppo really delivers on everything they're saying, then we're in for one of the most explosive Android phones of the year. Or at least one that won't require you to search for a charger every week.
