The new Peugeot 508 is one of those cars that we still wanted to see 'in flesh and blood' after we first saw it in the factory presentation photos. In real life, it works no less impressively, but even better, and practically all segments of the car testify to the progress.

Compared to its predecessor, it means that 70 kilograms and if we take into account that every kilogram contributes to fuel consumption, we are already on the right track to greater efficiency. The rookie is somewhat shorter and lower, but because of this wider, which makes it even sharper and even more dynamic. In addition, it has more space inside, and the luggage compartment measures from 487 to 1537 liters.
The latest Peugeot 508 will be available two gas stations engine, one s 180 horsepower and another with 225 horsepower, and both in combination with 8-speed automatic transmission. Three diesel engines they offer 130, 160 and 180 horsepower. The 130-horsepower one is available with a manual 6-speed gearbox, and the remaining two with the aforementioned automatic gearbox.
Peugeot also keeps pace with the times in the area of safety systems, and the new 508 can boast of many of them. We have a system available for visibility at night, automatic emergency braking with collision warning, driver inattention warning, traffic sign recognition system and many others. The adaptive cruise control offers a Stop & Go option to make overcoming traffic jams even easier. The night vision system works in conjunction with infrared camera and detects living things in front of the vehicle at night or when visibility is poor. The system detects within a range of up to 200-250 meters, which in practice means that it sees further than the range of the high beams, and displays in the middle of the digital instrument panel infrared image areas in the driver's field of vision.
If we choose the new Peugeot 508 in diesel form and manual transmission, it will be necessary to pay for it 25,900 euros. The entry-level 508 with a petrol engine and automatic transmission is available up to 28,400 euros further. The best-equipped version with the most powerful gasoline engine is available for 37,300 euros.
