These days, a French beauty - the new Renault Megane - hit Slovenian roads. It appeals to those who don't like the average things in life and demand more from their steel beauty. Thus, the lack of dynamism cannot be blamed on him, as his form stands out from the class average. This also continues in the driving sensations, where the innovative 4CONTROL™ system enables the vehicle to be steered even with the rear wheels.
New Renault Mégane in its 4th generation, it makes no compromises, and judging by the first impressions, it is a serious contender for the crown in its class. It has grown slightly in terms of wheelbase (2.8 cm) and track width (3.9 cm), while at the same time it is slightly lower (2.5 cm) than the previous generation. Admittedly, it is about centimeters, if not millimeters, but they are familiar and give the car a more determined and sportier silhouette. You will immediately recognize it from the side, but at the rear it remains more unconventional and above all different from the class average. In it, we also recognize the features of the recently introduced Talisman Grandtour, while in the nose of the vehicle we can perceive the appearance of its brothers - Captur, Kadjarja, Talisman.
Renault makes no compromises and is already launching a more aggressive GT-Line sports package, which will appeal to the young at heart. It differs from the equipment of its urban sophisticated brother in a more sporty and aggressively designed front bumper, while at the back the integrated exhaust pipe, where there is no shortage of chrome and drama, flourishes in the rear bumper. Of course, special sports rims, which have been designed for GT-Line and they can be as long as 18 inches.
There is also a thoroughbred Mégane GT with all the sports accessories and as much as 205 horsepower.
In addition to state-of-the-art assistance and safety systems, the new Renault Mégane it has high-end technologies for connectivity. The driver can operate the connectivity system via as much as an 8.7-inch (22-centimeter) tablet, which is the same as the new Espace.
Thus, it has unique control over the various functions of the car: multimedia content, navigation, telephony, radio, Multi-Sense system, driving aids (ADAS), system 4Control™ etc. The new generation also provides an excellent engine range.
