After long-term research, designer Anna Lotova set up a project that should idealize the work space at home. Functionality before form, or form that can be comfortable, but still attractive. This is how the OXYMORON board project was born.
The table itself is formed by two leaders materials, which together create an excellent design idea. Alcantara in conjunction with the foam, it acts as a virtual sedvic clothed in the chipboard of the work surface. The space between the foam should serve as a storage place for papers and various objects. It would also allow the user a different storage experience.
The table is full of surprises and storage "corners", through which the user experiences a different user experience of the table.
Touch and the principled incompatibility of materials means the way to a new experience of usability. Thus, the table, previously an object that we associate with the sensations of hard materials, becomes an object that can also offer the pleasure of soft materials.
Simple and genius.
