Nike found inspiration for its new creation from Netflix's popular series Stranger Things - the new sneakers will not only charm fans of the series, but also those who like to 'play with fire'.
A pair of sneakers Nike x Stranger Things Air Tailwind 79 was premiered at a pop culture convention San Diego Comic Con, which took place between July 18 and 21 this year.
The new version of the Nike Tailwind 79 model looks quite ordinary at first glance, but it's anything but that - it hides under the gray upper part message, which you can only get to with by burning the fabric. This way you will also discover the Stranger Things logo, which is located on the rear.
They also include new sneakers secret code, which Steve, Dustin and Robin deciphered in the third season of the show - the text in English and Russian is printed under the inner sole.
The Nike x Stranger Things Air Tailwind 79 will initially only be given away by manufacturers selected contest winners –, but luckily for us, there have been rumors that it will also be possible to buy them from August 21 forward. We hope for the best! 🙂
