Global presence and pricing expectations: Nissan Frontier Pro

The Frontier Pro will first be available in China in late 2025, with other international markets, including Latin America, to follow. While right-hand drive versions have not yet been confirmed, Nissan is considering introducing them for global markets. With similar models priced in Japan at around 4.5 million yen (around €27,000), in Europe, after taxes and homologation requirements, the price could be around €32,000. That's a bit low, and doesn't include dealer margins.

Conclusion: we would also have it in the EU

The Nissan Frontier Pro is not just another Chinese special – it is a demonstration of how a modern plug-in hybrid pickup truck can combine heritage, performance and sustainable mobility in one vehicle. In Europe, where the market has been missing a true successor to the Navara and the legendary Pathfinder for some time, the arrival of the Frontier Pro would be more than welcome. Its robust design, technological sophistication and high power could easily fill the void in Nissan’s European off-road offering. And although it has not yet been confirmed, – hand in hand – many serious pickup truck fans already want it on European soil.
