It was the golden age of romantic comedies and dramas and the time when some of the most famous actors like Julia Roberts, Meg Ryan, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and many others grew up.
They created fashion trends in the segments of clothing, make-up and hairstyles, and they also had "that something", which set them apart from the crowd of other films and which keeps us coming back to them again and again, no matter how many years have passed since the release of the film.
Below we present you some of the best and most beautiful films of the 90s of the last century.

The Man in the Moon (1991)
The extent to which love can destroy sisterly relationships and bring happiness and pain at the same time is best seen in the film in which Reese Witherspoon played one of her first roles. She portrays 14-year-old Dani, who has a 17-year-old sister, Maureen.
On hot summer nights, they talk about romance, the future and the meaning of life. When a 17-year-old boy moves in next door, the summer goes in a completely different direction than the sisters expected. With him, Dani experiences her first, true, perfect love, and then she meets Maureen...

The film, based on the true event of the sinking of the Titanic, brings us the unforgettable love story of poor Jack (DiCaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet), who are forced by their mother to marry a rich but corrupt man who should save them from financial ruin .
Everything else is history, and quotes from the movie have become part of modern culture.
Love on Skates (The Cutting Edge, 1992)

This acclaimed film is ideal for viewing on winter days.
Romeo + Juliet (Romeo + Juliet, 1996)
Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes brought us Shakespeare's classic in a modern way. It is a reinterpretation of the iconic love affair, and many agree that director Luhrmann managed to make one of the most original and best versions. Although he set the story in a modern American city, Luhrmann built the entire film around Shakespeare's original dialogues, which, combined with the film's extremely lucid visual identity, still provide the viewer with an unparalleled, ecstatic cinematic experience.
The story, of course, follows the well-known forbidden love story of Romeo and Juliet, whose families fell out, and despite the tragic ending, the film gives a completely new look at the literary classic and the belief that true love exists, no matter how short-lived it is.
