BARBECUE WITH THE SMELL OF THE SEA The old olive tree hides an intimate message in its name, as is characteristic of every mighty olive tree. Around the strong stalks of old olive trees, people have always loved to socialize and express their feelings, indulge in pleasures in the shade of bushy olive branches - at least that's what the creators of the Stara Oljka restaurant guarantee. In the center of the hustle and bustle of Portorož, which will be more and more frequented with spring and the coming summer, the restaurant's beautiful terrace with a view of the sea and gentle music will come to the fore. During such pleasant moments, we can treat ourselves to another house specialty, which is famous for its gourmet grilled dishes: pleskavica in cream cheese, skewers, leskovački ushtipci... Grilled Adriatic fish, crabs and mussels are prepared for seafood lovers. It is also pleasant to sit in the interior, which is furnished in the old Istrian style and is decorated with many antiques - each with its own story. The spacious restaurant can accommodate up to 300 people in the garden and up to 70 people inside, so you can also go there with a slightly larger group. Perhaps only on the house specialty: aged olive pancake and chocolate flambé souffle.
