For everyone who has more adrenaline in their veins than coffee on a Monday morning, head to Raceland in Krško. Between October 6 and 8, there will be a motoring festival - Operation NightStrike, which promises more action than action movies from the 80s.
The 32nd Drift Squadron team apparently had too much free time this year and decided to the traditional NightStrike lasted the whole weekend. Because why not? The goal is clear: to conjure up a motoring extravaganza that will stay in your memory longer than that last scratch on your car.
They will gather at the racetrack on Friday drift racers, who are better at sliding than most of us are at avoiding puddles after rain. We expect 40 racers from all corners of Europe, including countries where pasta is better than ours and those where chocolate is more expensive than gold.
As the sun goes down and the spotlights turn on, the qualifiers for Saturday's TOP32 Knockouts will take place. Friday will be interesting, but expect a real motoring festival on Saturday. An exhibition of supercars, simulators for those who are afraid of real speed and the opportunity to drive in a real drift car. And if that's not enough, there will also be a stunt show with Matija Podrhaški, which will provide an additional dose of adrenaline.
PURCHASE OF DAILY TICKETS FOR THE EVENTThe evening will be concluded with battles between the racers and the selection of the car that is louder than my mother-in-law at family picnics. The background music will be provided by DJ Xenia and Sun Dee, who will make you dance like I did when I hear that the cake is free.
Sunday will be marked by Japanese cars that will capture both the track and the hearts of visitors. In addition, go-kart and racing car rides.
Drey Nitrous, 32nd Drift Squadron racer, says, “Racing under the spotlight is better than watching my shows on prime time. Come to NightStrike in Krško and we'll see you on the runway if you're fast enough!"
