ORIGIN: hotel room in the canopy of an old oak tree

A treehouse is the dream of every child, as well as an adult who nurtures their inner child. What's better than climbing a tree trunk and hiding in the world of imagination? There are plenty of houses of this type, but we have certainly not seen one like this before.

Architects from studio LAVIT have designed a treehouse that looks like the nest. It is actually about hotel room, to be precise. They named her ORIGIN and is placed on the approx a hundred-year-old oak in the north of France.

It leads to the house Hanging bridge, 10 meters above the ground. The room measures 23 m², but can accept 2 guests. Two glass doors opens into the interior spaces in which they are living room, bedroom and wardrobe and bathroom. Each room is equipped with a window, so you can observe the surroundings at all times. The interior spaces are also illuminated by natural light, and are delimited by walls made of poplar. It is also on the roof of the house terrace.

Did you dream the same way?
