Oscars: The Best Movies That Ever Won an Oscar

We are only one day away from the film event of the year, the Oscars 2019. In the race for the golden statuette for the best film are Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, Beloved, Green Book, Roma, Zvezda je rojena and Vice President. There are currently 90 films that have won one of the most prestigious film awards in the world - the Academy Award - so the label "best of the best" is really hard to assign. So what do we think are the best Oscar-winning films in its 90-year history? Maybe we forgot one?

Oscars 2019 are really just around the corner, as they will be awarded tomorrow, February 24. This will be the 91st event, when they will announce the best film of last year, for which they are this year nominated 8 films. You can read more about the nominations for this year's Oscars here.

In mine 90 years of history various film genres were celebrated in the best film category - critically acclaimed films that have captivated all generations (Schindler's List, The Godfather), movies that make you feel good (Forrest Gump, Artist) and controversial films, which, according to many, did not deserve an Oscar that year (Fatal Accident, Bomb Mission). You can read more about the latter at this link.

But it is not only films that are considered controversial. The Oscars wouldn't be the Oscars if there weren't some shocking moments and twists. This is how he was on stage at the award ceremony in 1974, among other things a nag appeared, and in 2000 it is Angelina Jolie confessed her love to her brother, which many thought was inappropriate. But as if that wasn't enough, theirs also kicked up the dust bad kiss. You can read more about such moments, which went down in the history of the film event of the year due to their shocking nature. at this link.

Only three films in the entire history of the awarding of prestigious film awards have received "big 5", i.e. Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Screenplay (Original or Adapted): Romance It Happened One Night (1934), a comedy drama One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and a thriller When the lambs fall silent (1991). And it probably goes without saying that these films can easily be classified as "the best of the best". Otherwise, unfortunately, no one will be able to make this great move this year there is no film nominated in all five categories. So what are the Oscar-winning films that we think deserve the title of "best"?
