In the immediate vicinity of Novigrad, right on the coast, there is a modern holiday oasis with a rich history - Palazzo Rainis Hotel & Spa.
Palazzo Rainis inspired the Art Nouveau Villa Rainis, named after the Rainis family. It moved from Venice to Novigrad in the 19th century, and Giovanni Rainis also ran a pharmacy in Novigrad between 1857 and 1930. It was the rich history of the building that impressed the new owners and contributed its part to the mosaic of the complete story of the holiday facility.
Chemistry and Potions
Namely, the magnificent building received a new look under the supervision of the Croatian architectural studio Atellior, thought out down to the last detail. The entire hotel is designed with respect for the past, the restaurant was also named "Kemija" thanks to the first owners, and the hotel bar is called "Napoji". But it is not only the name of the restaurant that seduces guests. Master chef Tom Gretić builds his unique culinary philosophy on an understanding of chemical processes and formulas.
