Turizem Bled will organize a winter swimming competition in front of the Grand Hotel Toplice for the sixth year in a row. 6. The Bled Cup in winter swimming 2017 will take place on February 18, 2017.
Lake Bled will be February 18, 2017 already hosted the traditional Bled Cup in winter swimming. Bled Cup in winter swimming 2017 will be held again at the outdoor swimming pool Grand Hotel Toplice. Swimming will take place in Lake Bled, which has approx 5 degrees Celsius.
The competition will begin at 11:00 a.m, when we will first monitor swimming in 25 m breaststroke, 25 m freestyle, 50 m breaststroke and 50 m freestyle. They follow at 1 p.m jumping into the water, and half an hour later the award ceremony.

The idea of winter swimming in Lake Bled dates back to 2010, when Bled hosted world championship in winter swimming. Due to the good turnout, Tourism Bled decided to organize the winter swimming competition every year.
