Finally, we have something for fans of chips, pasta and crunchy things. Here's a recipe for pasta chips that will become your new vice.
Pasta chips? Sound unusual? Well, it's not. Not only is this very a tasty snack, is also nicely crispy, and you can complement it with, for example, marinara sauce. See below what you need to prepare new vices, and then happy to go to work.
Ingridients
- half a kilogram of pasta in the shape of butterflies
- vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon of Italian spice mix (oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil...)
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese
- salt
- pepper
- optional marinara sauce for dipping
Preparation
Boil salted water in a large pot, cook the pasta al dente (about 8 minutes) and drain.
Pour vegetable oil into a larger and deeper pan and heat it over medium-high heat. When ready, add about 100 grams of pasta. Cook until golden brown and crispy, about 2 minutes per side. Remove the pasta from the oil onto a paper towel and immediately season with a mixture of Italian spices, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Repeat the same with the rest of the pasta. If you like, you can also make marinara sauce for dipping. Have a good run!
