You've probably all heard of pyrography. If you haven't heard it, you've certainly seen it in practice. Namely, it is wood (can also be leather or cork) decorated with burnt patterns, which today are mostly created with the help of a device similar to a soldering iron (with a hard tip or a tip made of wire). Febo, on the other hand, returns to nature and instead of electricity (which heats the tip of the tool) uses a magnifying glass and the sun's rays, which make it possible to draw with the sun.
Wooden "pen" Phoebe it works according to the principle magnifying glass because it collects the sun's rays with a collecting lens and sends them in a narrow stream to the selected surface (usually wood). You really don't have the feeling that you are holding, for example, in your hand. pencil, but the effect is the same, except that instead of traces of graphite, you leave behind the "burns" that it inflicts jet of rays. The goal of the authors Feba, Rosalie Galeano, Francesca Padoyan and Paola Papetti was that this karseda is easy to use (it is convenient for all ages and all levels of knowledge).
But it is much more than that. It is, among other things persistent and sustainable, and its design combines science and art. He doesn't smudge, he never runs out of ink (well, except of course when it's night and the sky is covered with clouds) and his underwear never breaks. They are attached to it templates, if you do not use them, you are advised to do so sooner you outline with a pencil for an even better result of engraving with the sun.
