Philippe Starck SPHERE: a new eyewear collection for spring 2020 with a revolutionary design

Philippe Starck SPHERE

French designer Philippe Starck presented a collection of glasses for spring 2020. The collection was called SPHERE, and its inspiration was found in the infinite intelligence of nature. With the new design, he fixed one of the most annoying things that all of us who wear glasses know very well: he eliminated screws and welds, which means that the handles of the glasses can be turned freely in any direction.

"The sphere is the purest and most solid structure in the living world, embodying the perfection of nature. Minimalist perfection, original beauty," says Starck.

SPHERE spring collection of the designer Philippe Starck features ultra-light frames, without screws, with a titanium joint. This makes it possible unique multidirectional freedom of movement. The Biotech Paris collection offers an original range of ultra-light titanium frames and injection-molded frames made with the high-tech gravity evo® polymer.

There are 5 frames for prescription and sunglasses, covering different shapes: from the iconic square to a more vintage shape. Each model from the SPHERE collection is safely stored in an exclusive bag made of environmentally friendly materials (as much as 50 percent of apple fibers).
