A photographer who doesn't use a DSLR for celebrity portraits, but a vintage camera

New Yorker Victoria Will is a contemporary photographer who mixes modern and historical photographic techniques in her work. Let's see how she captured some of the most famous stars of our time in the lens of a vintage camera.

Victoria Will is a photographer who loves portrait photography and vintage cameras. Her latest project “Tintypes 2015” consists of stunning black and white portraits of celebrities, which she took with a vintage camera at this year's Sundance festival in New York. In doing so, she used the "tintype" photographic method, which dates back to the second half of the 19th century, and which involves manually developing photographs with the help of chemicals up to 8 minutes after the portrait itself is taken. More about the method and creation of an interesting series of photos can be found in the video and gallery.
