Slemen's peak
An autumn classic. The popular hiking trail is dressed in golden-yellow shades of larch trees in autumn, and at the end it rewards you with a wonderful view. The route starts at the parking lot of the Vršič Pass, and it will take you a good hour to walk to the destination.
Mangart saddle
It reigns at 2,055 meters above sea level Mangart saddle, where you can find beautiful golden-yellow larches. The highest mountain road in Slovenia, built by Italian soldiers, leads you there, and at the top you can see the surrounding peaks.
A hike along the Vertovče paths
A somewhat different hiking trail that winds through the Vipava valley, through vineyards and picturesque villages. It takes place on the first Sunday after St. Martin's Sunday, and on this occasion the locals serve you home-made delicacies.
Lakes Komna and Triglav
You will experience a real autumn fairy tale when you visit Komna and the Triglav lakes, which are most easily accessed from Blato mountain. The picturesque path winds through the forest and along the plateaus, along the foothills, all the way to the famous Koča pri Triglavske jezeri.
