Pininfarina is celebrating its 90th anniversary and will be honoring it in style with the Battista Anniversario electric supercar.
Right now legendary design house Pininfarina, whose design can be observed in several fields (both in automotive and kitchen utensils), celebrates 90th anniversary. It's not quite a hundred, but that's no reason why Italians shouldn't celebrate this anniversary in style. They decided to make 5 Pininfarina Battista Anniversario Supercars, but it's about the most powerful road legal car, who ever left Italy. The beauty will be driven four electric motors, and the combined power will be astounding 1,900 horsepower.
Electric motors are known for their jerky starts, so it's no surprise that the Battista Anniversario will be able to drive from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds. The terminal velocity will be 350 km/h, battery capacity 120 kWh but it should last at least 500 kilometers of driving. The buyer will enjoy the carefully crafted interior of the car, while the exterior will be adorned 3 iconic colors: Bianco Sestriere (White Sestriere), Iconica Blu (iconic blue) and never seen before Grigio Antonelliano (Grey Antonelliana). The trained craftsmen will only paint one Battista Anniversario car spent several weeks. There will be a deduction for a handmade sportsman 2.6 million euros.
