PlayStation Plus is about to change. Sony and PlayStation have finally officially announced their new game subscription service, which will compete with Xbox Game Pass. With the PS Plus package, you will be able to improve the experience of playing your games.
New version PlayStation Plus will still have access to the service benefits you currently have. It will keep its name and combine the previous subscription version with PlayStation Now, but will also offer three different subscriptions: Essential, Extra and Premium. It will include access to 700 different games at the highest Premium level.
PS Plus it will allow you to play games on legacy PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP consoles, and PS3 games will run as part of a subscription, as they were previously streamed via PlayStation Now.

- PS Plus Essential – €8.99 per month / €24.99 per quarter / €59.99 per year
- PS Plus Extra – €13.99 per month / €39.99 per quarter / €99.99 per year
- PS Plus Premium – €16.99 per month / €49.99 per quarter / €119.99 per year
The Extra and Premium categories will be in Available in Europe from June 22, 2022.
PS Plus Essential subscription will remain the same as the current PS Plus subscription and will bring 2-3 games as a gift each month, access to online multiplayer, discounts on certain game purchases and cloud storage. PS Plus Extra subscription brings access to a catalog of up to 400 games for PS4 and PS5. PS Plus Premium subscription it brings everything Essential and Extra and access to a catalog of up to 340 old games for the PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP consoles, as well as access to occasional trials of new games for a limited time.
