Porsche 911 GT3 RS - blurring the line between racing car and road car

With the 911 GT3 RS, Porsche has completely blurred the line between racing car and road car, which it has achieved through a combination of power, improved aerodynamics and a reduction in weight, thus walking the fine line of legal but still usable on public roads. It was presented at the 85th Geneva Motor Show, where it moved from the Nürburgring track, where it set Porsche's best time of 7 minutes 29 seconds.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS managed to blur the line between racing cars and road cars. Let's take a closer look. They fitted it with 20- and 21-inch wheels (265/35 ZR 20, 325/30 ZR), improved aerodynamics and center of gravity, perfected the management system and dressed it in a light but durable design (roof made of magnesium; at a lower weight, they played a large part carbon fiber, spread across various "compartments" of the car).

Under the hood "bubble" 4.0 liter engine with a "six-pack" of cylinders and 500 horses (368 kW). It does everything from 0-100 km/h 3.3 seconds, and it takes an additional 7.6 to reach 200 km/h. They hired to transfer power PDK automatic transmission. Porsche also worked on the brakes and equipped the 911 GT3 RS with brake discs 380 mm, which are more efficient, and connectivity- application Porsche Track Precision. And although with such a car asking for consumption is the same as asking a woman for years, it does not have to hide anything at all. The average consumption is "only" 12.7 liters per 100 km. Despite the modern interior, it remains sporty.
