Tadeusz Elwart, the owner of this unique 928 and the founder of the Hel Riders festival in Poland, has made this car set on fire both on the beach and at events dedicated to cars, skateboarding and surfing.

That's why veteran rally racer and engineer Tomasz Staniszewski stepped into the game, having recently finished Classic Dakar Rally with a modified Porsche 924. Under his expert guidance, the 928 Sufari received upgrades that allow better handling of sandy terrains.
The details of the modifications are not known exactly, but it is clear that the 928 Sufari boasts a higher ground clearance and robust off-road tires. The suspension, gearbox and differential have also been adapted for off-road driving and slow movement on sand. The exterior is the work of the Lange & Lange design group from Warsaw, which added Rothmans-style aesthetic accents and wider fenders to the vehicle, giving the 928 Sufari a unique and aggressive look.
