Posta Slovenije has made sending and receiving parcels user-friendly, and thus 99 percent of parcels are delivered the very next day after delivery. But they can boast of another fascinating number, which is that they deliver more than half a million packages every month.
Since Pošta Slovenije is aware that the addressees of packages are often not present at the address to which the package was sent, they have decided to offer alternative forms of delivery, namely.
– delivery to selected time slots (delivery by 10 a.m., after 4 p.m., between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.),
– delivery to selected address (to work, to a relative, neighbor...),
– delivery to selected post office or Petrol service station,
– delivery to pre-arranged space (on the terrace, under the canopy, in the shed...),
– possibility free re-shipments package,
– possibility, yes before delivering the package, they call the addressee or send an SMS message,
– the possibility to contact the addressee agree on a new delivery date (if the package was not delivered).
Your neighbor can pick up the package
Free service Delivery of parcels to a neighbor allows you to choose a person - a neighbor who lives in your immediate vicinity and who, in the event of your absence, can pick up your parcel shipment (all types of parcels), Express Mail shipments or registered letters with a charge (does not apply to registered letters without service, letters according to special laws, etc.). The new service within the addressee's order is free. The addressee's order can be issued on one form for several family members who sign the order (a neighbor can pick up shipments for one or more family members).
Delivery to the agreed place of your choice
By agreement, Pošta Slovenije will hand over the package to you without confirmation of collection at various places, such as a terrace, balcony, carport, etc. All you have to do is to order parcels to be delivered to you without confirmation of collection at the agreed place. The specified order applies to package shipments in domestic traffic that do not have additional services that require confirmation of the addressee or for which payment is required. Other package shipments in domestic traffic with additional services that require the presence of the addressee and arrived from international traffic are served with a confirmation of acceptance. And last but not least, it must be emphasized, the new service within the addressee's order is free.

Could it be any easier? From now on, you can pick up your parcels with easy access at 114 Petrol service stations 24 hours a day, every day of the week. The list of Petrol service stations that accept and deliver shipments is published on the website of Pošta Slovenije www.posta.si.
