On March 3, 2017, the ballet Carmen – Faun – Bolero will premiere in Maribor, representing one of the most interesting dance works of the 20th century. You can see this avant-garde choreography in a transformed form at the Maribor National Theatre. Tickets are already available for purchase.
It will be held in the great hall of the Maribor National Theatre March 3, 2017 staged premiere of the ballet Carmen – Faun – Bolero. It is one of the the greatest works of the 20th century, which represents an avant-garde moment in dance art.
The difference, originality and renewal of basic concepts is less shocking in today's spirit, but the idea remains inspiration for many choreographers and dancers. Neoclassical ballet Carmen – Faun – Bolero will be presented to the audience in a renewed form of renowned creators Edward Clug, Valentina Turcu and Johan Iger. The movements of the dancers will be accompanied by music from the opus Debussy, Ravel and Ščedrin. They will present themselves in dance roles Tetiana Svetlična and Gaj Žmavc.
