Redemption, sacrifice, faith and family are the themes of the new season of Into the Badlands. AMC's martial arts drama will have its world premiere on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 3:00 a.m., with a rerun of the first episode the same day at 10:00 p.m. on AMC. The highly anticipated AMC Studios series returns with ten one-hour episodes.
“Into the Badlands” is one of the highest-rated new series in US history. It's a series Deadline declared it "bold, complex, extremely stylized and one that would do Bruce Lee's legacy proud".
At the beginning of Season 2, Sunny and MK are trapped far away from each other in prisons in strange places. MK struggles to control his powers, and Sunny is determined to fight his way back to the Badlands and find his family, even at the cost of his own life. Along the way, Clipper and Colt gain a mysterious ally whose intentions are anything but pure. The Widow continues her alliance against the other barons, while a dark and mysterious threat plots revenge against them all. Alliances will be formed, many friendships will be betrayed, and by the end of the season, Sunny and MK's lives will be changed forever, with devastating consequences.
