When the ski slopes are covered with snow and the cable car starts, the winter season begins in Krvavac. This is also the time when restaurants start operating in Krvavac. On the southern slope of Krvavec, just above the forest line, right near the top station of the cable car, we find the Gospinc plateau, where the Mountaineering Association from Kranje manages a mountain lodge. The home offers over 50 beds, which means that they have to feed at least that many hungry mouths. That's why the Pri Rozki snack bar, well known to everyone who has ever visited Krvavec, operates in the home. Rozka offers a predictable menu, which is understandable, since the flow of guests here is very large, and there is little time to prepare individual dishes. This means that they have a well-rounded offer that will restore strength to every tired skier. We can treat ourselves to a real farm feast, sausages and the obligatory sauerkraut and blanched buckwheat groats. When it's bitterly cold, we'll enjoy real homemade beef soup. For those who don't swear by local farm food, they stock pasta with various toppings and anything else. They prepared a freshly baked apple roll for sweets, and their pancakes almost became famous. If we decide to spend the night in a hostel, we will be served a hearty breakfast in the morning in Rozka, which will keep us on our feet during the day.
