The new generation Jeep Compass 2026 is here and – surprisingly or not – it brings the most that this compact SUV has ever offered. It will be available in different drive flavors: from a mild hybrid for urban adventurers to an electric model for quiet but determined eco-fighters. In the electric version with a 74 kWh battery, front-wheel drive and a range of up to 500 kilometers (according to WLTP), the price will start at € 50,400 – and that's for the First Edition version. Yes, so it's not an ascetic basic version, but a model that is already specifically equipped.

These are unofficial (but necessary) European prices, German - where we know that even cars drink beer and drive 200 km/h on the highway. Let's look at the prices for the new Jeep Compass 2026.

Mild-hybrid from €42,400 – with rich equipment that smells of premium class

For all those who still only talk to electricity through a microwave, here is Jeep Compass Mild Hybrid. For €42,400 you get the First Edition with some pretty luxurious equipment: a panoramic glass roof for stargazing (or your neighbors), a 360-degree camera for stress-free parking, matrix LED headlights for night hunters, and 20-inch wheels that scream: “I’m not here for a joke!”

Under the hood is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine with 145 hp and a mild hybrid system that - let's be honest - won't move mountains, but it will be powerful enough for everyday city adventures and weekend getaways to the countryside. The price-to-equipment ratio is excellent.

Plug-in hybrid with a range of 90 km and up to 900 km total range

For those who want electric driving during the week and a classic engine for weekend escapades, there's a plug-in hybrid version. Up to 90 km of purely electric range and up to 900 km of combined range with 195 horsepower under the hood. Price? Officially not yet known, but if we take a good look at the competition and the pricing policies of the models above and below it, it will be between 48,000 and 52,000 euros. Translation: get ready to get a lot of performance for every euro - and silence during the morning commute.

Electric Compass with up to 375 hp and four-wheel drive – off-road, watch out!

The most powerful electric version of the Jeep Compass is yet to come. Two electric motors, all-wheel drive, and up to 375 horsepower sound like a recipe for e-off-road fun. It will also be available with a larger 96 kWh battery, which will allow for up to 650 km of range with front-wheel drive, or around 600 km with all-wheel drive. Price? Over €60,000, of course – but hey, prestige comes at a price, especially when it comes in the form of an SUV that can climb where electric scooters never will.

Why is the 2026 Jeep Compass a special choice?

The new Compass sits on a platform Stella Medium – yes, the same architecture that also underpins the Peugeot 3008, Opel Grandland and DS 7. The platform allows for greater spaciousness (550 litres of boot space), flexibility and a variety of drivetrains. Yet Jeep remains true to itself: the iconic seven-slot grille, the distinctively robust stance and the small “Willys” details that elegantly recall the brand’s rugged beginnings.

The Compass 2025 is not just a new model, but a strategic shift from Jeep towards a more premium position, but without forgetting who they are and why we love them. The robustness remains. The confident design too. They just added more silence, more technology – and (of course) more euros on the price list.

Price summary (First Edition models): eep Compass 2026

Mild Hybrid (145 hp): from €42,400
Electric (213 hp, 74 kWh, 500 km): from €50,400
Plug-in Hybrid (195 hp, 90 km e-range): ~€48,000–€52,000 (expected)
🔜 Electric AWD (375 hp, 96 kWh, up to 650 km): over €60,000 (expected)

If Jeep stays true to its combination of performance, ruggedness and now-urban-cool design, the 2025 Compass has a good chance of remaining among the most desirable compact SUVs on European roads. But the final verdict will come from a test drive – and that gut feeling when you press the gas.
