The 2017 Moja reka si competition, organized by Coca-Cola Slovenia in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, the Sava Commission and the Tourist Association of Slovenia, continues to encourage the organizers of clean-up campaigns that take place in Slovenia in direct or close proximity to the rivers that they organize various associations, organizations and individuals.
Web site mojareka.si is a platform with information about cleaning campaigns, which take place in Slovenia. The purpose of the Moja reka si project is to strengthen the impact of cleaning campaigns and to help the efforts of campaign organizers for a cleaner environment to be better heard.
In the competition You are my river 33 clean-up campaigns took part this year, of which 13 organizers made it to the finals based on the collected data on the number of participants, the amount of waste collected and the progress compared to the previous year. Among them, the Kranjski taborniki (1st place), the municipality of Slovenska Bistrica (2nd place) and the Cerknica Mountain Association (3rd place) performed best.
