Did you think the most attractive features of a man are muscles and a sense of humor? Well, recent scientific discoveries suggest otherwise. These two qualities are by no means crucial in getting a woman's attention. So what is this secret?
As if making some kind of tacit agreement, scientific teams from different parts of the world decided to start research on male attractiveness and so they reveal the secret of attractive men. The male inhabitants of our planet will surely be most interested in the conclusion reached by scientists from Canada: it seems that selfless people want to play in bed more than once.
Researchers asked unmarried Canadians about how often they did some good deed - donated money to a charity or helped dig out a car from under the snow. Then they were asked some questions about their personal lives. After studying the answers, the scientists came to the conclusion that they are good-hearted men more popular with the opposite sex. Such people meet more women and they are less likely to avoid intimacy.
In another study, they asked a certain number of women to choosing between two men – they had to choose one for a long-term relationship, the other for one night. Each woman was offered a few photos that showed different possible candidates, and their appearance ranged from above average good looking to completely average looking. Half of these men were involved in charity projects or some other type of selfless action (this information was included in the captions that accompanied the photos). For one night, most women chose selfish but beautiful candidates. But when it came to choosing a partner for a long-term relationship, the majority of female respondents chose friendly men with a generous personality.

The results of the experiments prove that women see altruism in men as an indicator of a good father and a good husband, which is suitable for a long-term and responsible relationship.
A similar study was conducted in men. When asked about the qualities that their long-term partner should have, they they too chose good-hearted candidates who would be suitable mothers for their future children.
Physical attractiveness and a sense of humor are not entirely unimportant. Women see humor as an indicator for intelligence. External beauty is just not that important to a man who has a caring heart and is ready to do something good. But it doesn't hurt anyone. 🙂
