When you're at the very top, sooner or later there will be someone willing to knock you off the top spot. Tesla undoubtedly has primacy in the field of electric cars in its hands. Meanwhile, several car brands have already decided to jump to the top spot and have failed miserably. Will Chinese startup Qiantu Motor be the one to succeed them?
Qiantu Motor K50 is a fully electric car with a stunning exterior. The eye-catching design works excellently, and its electrical characteristics are also not negligible. We spotted prototypes and test cars already in 2016, in the year 2020 but it's coming upgraded and perfected version. With a single charge, we will be able to drive up to 380 kilometers a long way. They have two electric motors 402 horsepower and 650 newton meters of torque, and the K50 can be 0 to 100 km/h shoots into the mere 4.6 seconds. The maximum speed reached by the K50 is 200 km/h.
K50 can be light weight thanks to the frame from aluminum, which is covered with carbonaceous fibers. Qiantu Motor plans to build its electric sports car in USA and place it affordably under the price of a new Tesla, which is further proof that you they want to compete. We will see whether they will succeed at least a little soon, but certainly not before 2020. And the only question is what they can do until then surprise Tesla and shakes off another one of many rivals.
