Razer Blade 14 (2025): Thinner, better, expensive as hell – and still wants to be a MacBook for gamers

Black, brutal, shiny – and now also in white, because gamers are getting older

The 2025 Razer Blade 14 (2025) is a slim black (or white, if you're feeling bold) machine that tries to be as powerful as an Alienware but as stylish as a MacBook Pro. Now with an RTX 5070 and AMD Ryzen AI 9, an OLED display, a thin chassis, and a price that will stab you deep in the soul - and in your wallet.

Razer has finally done something that Apple would have done back in 2017 – reduce the weight, slim down the case, and cram so much power into it that the computer can start its own energy crisis. Razer Blade 14 (2025) is now 11 % thinner and lighter than before, which means you can take it with you – if you don't mind carrying 1.63kg of prestige and testosterone.

And yes, it still has that signature green logo that screams “I play games in 4K,” even if you only bought it to edit TikToks.

RTX 5070 in a case as thick as a book on minimalism

Razer claims that the RTX 5070 isn't crippled in this tiny chassis. On the contrary, it runs at full TDP (115W), meaning the thing can run Cyberpunk 2077 while you render an Instagram reel and listen to some lo-fi beats to focus.

Razer Blade 14 (2025) display? OLED 3K at 120 Hz. Your retina has never suffered with so much joy. Processor? AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 – because even AI now needs hardware power to advise you on which filter to use on your selfie.

RAM? A warning to minimalists and maximalists

Up to 64GB of RAM, which is impressive until you find out it's soldered. That's right, upgradeable? Forget it. SSD? Swappable. Thanks, Razer, because we're not all just gaming influencers, some of us really need more than 2TB.

Harbors for everything except your emotional baggage

Two USB4, two USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1, 3.5mm jack, micro SD (because full SD would be too mainstream) and even their own power connector. Plug in whatever you want – unless you wanted Thunderbolt. Then, sorry, it's AMD.

Conclusion: The Razer Blade 14 (2025) is for those who want to say “yes, I game” without looking like a LAN-party relic

For $2.299 to $2.699 (plus taxes, tears and credit) (EU price unknown at time of writing), you get a machine that truly combines aesthetics and power. Is this the new golden mean between the MacBook Pro and Alienware? Maybe. If you're cool enough not to mind the RGB keyboard lighting – and grown up enough to buy it in white.
