The Razer Smart N95 is a futuristic smart protective mask that the manufacturer claims is "the world's smartest protective mask". Is it true?
When we first stepped into the pandemic last year, most protective face masks were pretty simple cloth affairs. From then until today, manufacturers - from fashion to technology - have boldly adapted to the situation and strengthened their offer in order to provide us with a variety of protective face masks to the best of their ability. Thus, we were able to observe an exceptional speed of development in the existing offer.
But nothing like at the fair CES 2021 presented Razer. Along with its typical futuristic toy equipment, Razer also announced an innovative protective mask N95, which goes by the name “Project Hazel”. For starters, the design uses a clear, transparent mouthpiece that allows for better communication and recognition of facial expressions. What's more, it also has a built-in microphone and amplifier, which is a great combination that ensures that your voice rings loud and clear even when it is “muffled” by the mask.
When it comes to security, Project Hazel has features microbial filtering, pair ventilators and brings cold air into the mask, while simultaneously releasing the hot air that is created during exhalation.
The battery life in the smart protective mask should be good enough for all day use, and the unit also includes wireless charging case, which quickly replenishes the lack of energy. Oh, and let's be honest - it wouldn't be Razer if it didn't have some of its own lighting system Chrome RGB.
At the moment, the mask is still a concept that will be perfected through a lot of testing and user feedback. We hope it becomes a reality soon because it looks really cool! You agree?
