The Micromilspec Dualtimer is Micromilspec’s first fully commercial pilot’s model. A 42mm steel case, two-tone luminescence, 24-hour rotating bezel, and a Swiss Sellita SW330-2 movement make for a very pragmatic GMT package for under €2,000. Limited to 75 pieces, delivery is scheduled for Q1 2026.
Micromilspec Dualtime may not be the loudest name on Instagram, but it has been the quiet choice of military squadrons and specialistsAfter more than forty uniform projects, the Oslo-based brand has taken a step that was almost inevitable: the first “civilian” pilot’s GMT. Its name is simple – Dualtimer – and so is the approach: more function, less cosmetics.
From squadrons to the Annual Collection
Micromilspec builds custom watches for specific units – from the Royal Norwegian Air Force to the project NATO AWACS. Dualtimer institutionalizes this knowledge in the new Pilot category within the annual (limited) sales series. First flight: 75 pieces.
Case: modern flieger without cosplay
Forged steel, 42 mm wide and 200 m water resistance place the Dualtimer closer to an “instrument” than an ornament. The thickness is officially stated at 12 mm, some media reports 12.5 mm – in reality this means wearing it under the sleeve, without pretending to be a dress. The bezel is 24 hours and ribbed, and the crown at the classic 3 o’clock position has a beveled edge protection. Visually, there are many hints of the Flieger type A (triangle with two dots at 12 o’clock, Arabic numerals), but without the nostalgic costume.
Night navigation: two-tone Super-LumiNova X1
Micromilspec has very elegantly separated “local time” from “home time.” The hands and indices for local time glow green, while the GMT hand and 24-hour bezel glow blue. Even in complete darkness, the brain doesn’t play tricks – two colors, two time zones, no confusion.
A date with an aviation flavor
The date window is designed in the “altimeter” style, following the tradition of pilot’s instruments. Some accounts even describe it as a panoramic/curved design, similar to the solution on the IWC Mark XVII, which displayed three dates in an arc. The Micromilspec’s purpose is the same: fast reading, minimal visual noise.
Mechanics: SW330‑2 and the eternal “office vs. flyer” debate
The Dualtimer is powered by the Sellita SW330-2, an automatic GMT with a 56-hour power reserve and a frequency of 4 Hz. This is the so-called “office/caller” configuration: the GMT hand is set independently, and the local time is adjusted via the crown – the exact opposite of a “true/flyer” GMT. Micromilspec also lists internal regulation and a typical daily deviation of ±7 s/d. In practice: proven Swiss precision, understandable servicing and no drama.
Straps and ergonomics: H-link or FKM
The wrist gets an integrated metal H-link bracelet or textured FKM rubber (black, white or orange). A quick-change system is standard, so switching between “cabin” and “weekend” is a matter of minutes. Several media outlets also mention a leather strap as an option. The lug-to-lug dimensions (approx. 50.3 mm) and the flat underside of the case balance the silhouette nicely.
Price and delivery: transparent and with a margin
Prices start at 1.670 € on the rubber and 1.735 € on a steel bracelet. Orders are open now, and delivery is planned for Q1 2026. Microlot? 75 pieces in the 1st edition of the annual collection. In some currencies, the starting point is NOK 19,950 or approximately $2.035.
Where Dualtimer stands different from Milgraph
Last year's Milgraph was a quiet rock from the left: titanium case, replaced (left-handed) crown and chronograph + GMT, but with lower water resistance (100 m). The Dualtimer moves the crown to 3 o'clock, chooses steel, discards the stopwatch and bets on maximum readability of the GMT function - more pilot, less polygon.
Who is this watch for?
If you need a “tool” and not a costume; if it’s important to you that reading two timepieces at night is intuitive; and if you appreciate a brand that spent most of its career not working for showcases, but for units that fly, jump and dive – then the Dualtimer is very much in your orbit. At the same time, it remains reasonably priced and technically sober.

Conclusion: Micromilspec Dualtimer
The Dualtimer is a “pragmatic pilot”: separate colors for separate times, a robust case, proven mechanics and a healthy price. It doesn’t play flieger cosplay, but carries the logic of the instrument – and that’s exactly what a civilian derivative of military know-how should be. Next step? Maybe a titanium and “flyer” GMT for purists. Until then, this Micromilspec is a very sober card for anyone who crosses time zones more often than a trouser belt.
