Recipe: American pancakes with apple sauce

For a perfect breakfast

A dessert that will be a tasty and healthy breakfast at the same time! Pancakes with apples, the recipe of which we present below, are an ideal dessert that will please everyone, at any time.

Ingredients for 6 pancakes:

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened apple cider
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or any other milk)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 and a half cups of oatmeal
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation:

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until the mixture is completely smooth. If you find that the batter is too thick, add a few extra tablespoons of milk. Heat the oil in a pan and fry them on a moderate heat for 2-3 minutes, until they swell a little and you see bubbles on the edges. Turn the pancake to the other side and cook until golden brown.

Ingredients for Apple Dressing:

  • 3/4 cup diced apples
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of maple syrup
  • a little cinnamon

Add 3/4 cup diced apples, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 teaspoon maple syrup, and a dash of cinnamon to a pot and simmer over medium heat until apples are soft.

Pour over the pancakes, add some walnuts if desired and just enjoy!
