There is nothing better than creating with children. For the youngest, the kitchen is a kind of first laboratory where they can experiment, develop their imagination and train their senses. If they help prepare the meal, they are more likely to eat it. It holds, right?
Through cooking, they learn about different ingredients, tastes, textures and recipes, and at the same time develop important skills that will help them in other areas of life.
Cooking is a nice way to socialize. Set aside enough time to create together and let the fun begin.
Banana lights
Ingredients
- 280 g of dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- 4 bananas
- wooden chopsticks
- optional sprinkles (coconut flakes, colorful crumbs, crushed hazelnuts,...)
Directions
- Heat the chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler over medium-low heat. Once melted, remove from heat.
- Cut the bananas in half and insert a wooden stick into each half.
- Gently dip the bananas into the melted chocolate. Once the banana is covered in chocolate, hold it over the bowl for a minute so that the excess chocolate falls off.
- Sprinkle the decoration on top and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Once all the bananas are soaked and tossed, place them in the freezer for about an hour before serving.
Enjoy and good running!
