Ingredients
- Ingredients for the cupcakes:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- half a cup of buttermilk
- half a cup of coffee
- half a teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 80 ml of vegetable oil
- pinch of salt Ingredients for the cream:
- half a cup of butter
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 220 g of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1-2 tablespoons of cream
- pinch of salt
Directions
- First, start preparing the dough for the muffins. In a large bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ingredients for the muffins (buttermilk, coffee, vanilla extract, egg and oil). Then combine the mixture and mix well.
- Place the paper molds in the muffin tins. Put the dough in them and bake for 18-20 minutes in an oven that you have previously heated to 175°C. After baking, let the cupcakes cool completely.
- Start preparing the cream: melt the butter in a large bowl until soft and add the cocoa powder. While mixing, gradually add first powdered sugar, then vanilla extract.
- Fill a piping bag with the cream and decorate the cupcakes with it. If desired, sprinkle with chocolate crumbs. Bon Appetit!
